An hour from now the DeRobertis family will set off on a journey by car. Final destination: Chicago. 

Unlike most trips we have opted to not pack the suitcase of vegan food essentials and be truly adventurous or possibly just ill prepared, depending on your point of view. We are all confident that even as vegans traveling through the smallest of towns that we will not starve.

One kind person we have never met but who enjoys the blog lives in Salt Lake City  and offered to feed us if we want to stop by. It’s unlikely that we will be able to fit it in but the kindness has warmed our hearts.
Our first destination is Vernal, Utah which is approximately 980 miles away. We will check in tomorrow night and let you know that we survived.
