I can’t believe I have made it 21 days through Vegan MOFO without making a dessert. It’s not that I haven’t had dessert. We are fortunate enough to have a grocery store not too far from us that sells raw cheesecakes, so when I have needed my fix I have gone there. It’s good to help stimulate the local economy, right?
My mom and dad are in Boston, MA right now visiting family, and besides the fact that they are probably eating what dad considers toxic, mom isn’t around and she really wants to be part of the first raw cheesecake experiment. So in the meantime I have decided to browse recipes and see what some of the other MOFO participants have come up with for raw desserts. If I have missed something that you think that we should know about, please share.
I have to say I love An Unrefined Vegans theme of Peanut Butter and Jelly and this is one of the many great looking dishes she has made.
Recipes like this are when I get sad that I am allergic to bananas. I may have to make these for hubby.
The other day when I bought my first Honey Crisp apple of the season I instantly thought about an apple crisp. This recipe would definitely work to fill that craving.
I adore chocolate and hazelnuts together. The blueberry in this combo is an added bonus.
How could I write about raw desserts and not share at least one ball recipe. I love making raw dessert balls and this recipe sounds great.
Those cookie dough bombs look amazing!
Raw desserts always look (and taste) so good!
I love the fact that small portions are usually satisfying!
Great round-up, I love Unrefined Vegans theme this month! I don’t know why I never think to make raw desserts because they always taste so good.
Often they are pretty simple too. Much easier than baking a cake!
