Vegan MOFO Day 3: Wasabi Broccoli Slaw

slwToday I am kinda going to call a cheat. I have a few perishable items I had to get rid of so I opted to make them into what they were bought for.  This salad is a family favorite, well except for Anzia. It is a bit too spicy for her. This salad works great as a side dish and ages well.

As far as the “Intervention of a Food Hoarder” theme, it is still four fewer things I am storing.

Again, this dish is as easy as opening bags and stirring.

slwmixIngredients:
1 package broccoli slaw
1 package Triangulated Wasabi Trek Mix (Trader Joe’s)
1 bottle Asian Style Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette (Trader Joe’s)
1 bag organic Power to the Greens

Directions:
Open up broccoli slaw, trek mix, and vinaigrette.  Pour everything into a large bowl. Mix together. Slowly add in Power to the Greens (I do a handful at a time and mix in, then repeat.) Let chill or eat immediately.

Thanks to all you you who have checked out my daughter Anzia’s blog. She is so excited about the support she is getting from the vegan community. If you haven’t seen it yet take a look here: Peacelovebevegan.com

    YUM! Easy, and delicious!!!

I’ve been enjoying Anzia’s blog — you should both be proud!

Super food – 1-2 tubs (primal greens, primal reds). If you
choose diet shakes, be careful to choose those containing more fiber with less sugar.
When you give your body a daily dose of these super foods it’s like renovating your body the way someone would
renovate an old house that has seen better days.

  4. This looks nice and simple! Would make a great side to a tofu dish.
