Hi! Here at Don’t Fear the Vegan we live in Salem, Oregon where the number of vegans is a small but close group. One of our friends nominated us for the Statesman Journal’s Best of 2016 list for “Use of Social Media.”
Obviously we would love to win this which requires us to put our use of social media to the test. Winning will help to put the presence of veganism in our community in the public eye and let those around us know that we may be small in numbers but have a strong voice! Plus, it helps to advertise the next season of our television show which we are getting ready to start filming. We volunteer a lot of time to educate our community about being vegan and this would be free advertising.
This is the link to vote. Simply scroll down to the category “Use of Social Media.”
Also, if you have another minute if you could use it to vote for another person in our vegan tribe, Summer Keightly and her vegan bakery, Willametta’s, it would be greatly appreciated. Find it under the bakery section. http://statesmanjournal.secondstreetapp.com/l/Best-of-2016/Ballot/FoodampDrink
Oh yeah, and Green Acres Farm Sanctuary! They are under Places to Volunteer. http://statesmanjournal.secondstreetapp.com/l/Best-of-2016/Ballot/PlacestoGoThingstoDo
This is how vegans take over, one little community at a time. Thanks in advance for your time and support!
