The little vegan and I are off for a much-needed mini mommy daughter vacation to sunny California. We have rented a convertible and are going to play in the sun. The DFV kitchen will be up and running again next week. Any one have recommendations for good vegan spots in San Diego?

Don't Fear the Vegan 
I live in San Diego! There’s the Loving Hut and Sipz Cafe that are decent vegan restaurants. Also if you want more upscale, “George’s at the Cove” in La Jolla has a new Vegetarian/Vegan menu that looks fantastic and the views of the ocean are incredible.
