In hindsight, sending Tofurky a 4 paragraph penis joke based on one of their products wasn’t probably the smartest thing for a nascent blogger to do.  I did zero research on their philosophy, the owner’s background and beliefs etc., and for all I knew it could have landed in the inbox of a proper lady/gentleman with conservatives views on the discussion of matters of the flesh.  I must of thought it was a good idea at the time but there were probably a couple of beers involved so…….

However the vegan goddess smiled on us and they LOVED IT!  So much that they sent us a a gang of gifts for us to pass on to our loyal readers.  DFV would like to give a special thank you and shout out to all the folks at Turtle Island Foods, with special thanks to Seth & Heather for hooking up all the great goodies and to extra special thanks to Monica G. for having a sense of humor.   Merry Christmas to you all!
