There are some products that are staples in the DFV house, yet we’ve never written about them. Steffi does most of the creating in our kitchen and writes the majority of the posts so these things rarely cross my mind. I was forced to think about it as I began to write this post. The idea was to link back to some recipe Stef created so that I would have some pics to work with only to find……nothing.
Now I know So Delicious products are a staple in the DFV kitchen. I’m willing to bet there are at least 3 of their products in the fridge right now. Enjoy this picture of our new kitten while I check it out.
I was wrong, there are actually 5 different So Delicious products in the kitchen right now; Vanilla Yogurt, Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream, Hazelnut Coffee Creamer and a Coconut Milk. That’s a lot of stuff to have lying around to have never written about it. Then it dawned on me, So Delicious makes dairy analogs that are excellent stand alone products and I’ve never had to cook with one to enjoy it. Yogurt? Open and eat with a spoon. Ice Cream? Ditto. Coffee cream is pretty self explanatory and I don’t think Stef ever gets brand specific when using milks, so you see my problem here.
Fortunately for us and our readers, that didn’t stop So Delicious from donating to this years 12 Days Give Away. Today’s gift is this awesome little gift package for So Delicious.
I cannot claim responsibility for this creation, this one is all the little vegan. If necessity is the mother of all invention then what do you do when you’re freezing in the middle of winter yet you still want ice cream? Devise the “Hot Chocolate Float”.
Directions: Make hot chocolate using your favorite So Delicious milk product, once the hot chocolate is in the mug, add a scoop or two of So Delicious ice cream, top with whipped cream.
Let’s be clear this isn’t a ‘contest’. We’re giving away gifts to our friends. However the limit quantities available gifts means we need to make some choices. If you want to receive a gift, please leave a comment on the Don’t Fear the Vegan blog post for that day. Commenting on Facebook doesn’t count. Around midnight Pacific time the day after a post, a recipient will be randomly chosen from the comments section. We will reveal the gift recipients via email and a reply in the comments. The giftee will have 48 hours to contact us from the time of post, otherwise we will choose another lucky reader who then has 48 hours to get back to us, and so on…. We have learned from past give aways that it is sometimes very difficult to get a hold of folks. Lastly we can only afford to ship within the United States. Sorry the rest of the world.
Mmm I love these products!!
I could have used this hot chocolate float after shuffling snow yesterday. Have to try this one.

Plz to enter to WIN. Thnx.
We live their products and use them nearly every day!
“So” is by far my favorite. I have given up dairy 5 months ago now and I have tried a bunch of different brands. I am so happy I discovered this brand it’s the best!!😻
The Soy Delicious Nog is amazing….mmmm
Awesome recipe! So excited Facebook brought me to your blog 🙂
This looks like an awesome gift. Thanks for the opportunity to try new and improved vegan items.
I love so delicious products! I haven’t bought many things since I found out I was preggo since I want to expose baby to everything (even if it’s against my vegan ways) but I’m so excited to go back to my vegan ways 😉
Yum, I always have plenty of So Delicious in my house too.
My daughter has a milk allergy so we LOVE so delicious at our house. Very thankful for their products!
Just found your page… Would love some free vegan yummies for me and my daughter!
We almost always have So Delicious ice cream in our freezer. Already a vegetarian, I went dairy free while nursing my dairy intolerant son. Although he’s weaned, I haven’t gone back and I’m loving it!
I’m curious what dairy free whipped cream you’ve used in your hot chocolate? I haven’t yet found one- does So Delicious make one?
Thanks!
Hi Amy
The whipped cream is Soyatoo. They also have a rice based whipped cream but we haven’t tried that one.
