Vegan Donuts & a Give Away

Those of us vegans in Seattle are very fortunate on many levels when it comes to being able to eat out. There are many choice of vegan restaurants as well as other restaurants with vegan options. We are reminded of this when we travel to other parts of the country and are left with a side, hold everything but the lettuce and carrots, salad.

With all the choices available we try our hardest to spread our dining out funds and support the vegan establishments though we definitely seem to be partial to one place over all the others and that place is Mighty-O donuts. We take all our company there, we meet locals for breakfast and sometimes, like this morning, we just needed our donut fix! This got us thinking, the vegans of the world need to be able to try Mighty-O and we happen to have a food sealer so we can make this happen! Well…not the world and unfortunately not out of the United States, and not every vegan, but one lucky winner (and maybe their friends if they are willing to share) in the U.S. can have a dozen Mighty-O donuts!

I like a basic sugar donut. Or a glazed one.

  3. How do I possibly choose between apple fritters, sour cream donuts, and maple glazed donuts? Looking at this picture of these donuts is making me salivate – literally!!! You’re SO lucky to have Mighty-O available anytime you crave donuts!

Oh man! It has been so long since I’ve had a donut – but I remember in the pre-vegan days enjoying any and all that I tried. When I was a youngin’ we got chocolate eclairs and donut holes every Sunday. I used to love chocolate or blueberry cake donuts and of course the classic glazed. I’m salivating.

These look amazing. There is a serious lack of vegan doughnuts where I live.

My favorite type of doughnut used to be a maple bar. I haven’t had a doughnut in years, but I’m guessing maple bars are still awesome.

i LOVE and miss donuts! please pick me!

  9. The other weekend I was visiting my family and we went apple picking. Then my parents and boyfriend ate apple cider donuts and I kept a stiff upper lip and ate dehydrated apple chips, but a vegan donut would have been nice 😉

nom nom nom…donuts. I love them! I love that they do a seasonal donut as well, something to look forward to with changing of the seasons. I’m pretty old fashioned so I love just a plain old english donut but I also can’t resist a nice chocolate topped treasure either.

  11. Melissa says:

Apple fritters are my all time fave!

  12. ACK! I have been vegan 7 1/2ish years and in that time I’ve had vegan donuts ONCE. I was living in Maine at the time (I’m in NC right now) and my neighbor went to Seattle and brought me back some Mighty O’s! It was awesome. My favorite donuts are cinnamon but I gladly shove any donut into my face.

  13. Kelly G. says:

Those glazed donuts need to be in my face asap.
